Besides, Lena was busy laughing, smile wide and cheeks flushed at the flickering sentiments. “To be fair, all of us were busy in that regard.” At least, with everything healed in the Feverlands, they could chuckle about it now – in prior circumstances she still would’ve been a disappointed mess, wearing that despondent carving deep in her bones.
