Finally, the smaller gourds are dead, but there isn't time for Sah to celebrate his meager win. The final possessed gourd begins to reach out to him, and the hybrid shifts as fast as he can, putting some distance between them as he does. He's tested two of his three shifts in combat now, and the Wild Thunder has a far better understanding of their limitations than he did before this.

It's still hard to wrap his mind around the fact that his lightning magic is more powerful than his air, despite the added effectiveness the lighter element has against the void.
