It shrieked and shook as he cut his weapon free in a spray of seeds and stringy gourd guts and then stabbed again to pin it down to the bridge beside him.
"Y'done with yours yet?" he called over to Sah, keeping his eyes on the twitching remains of his own vampire gourd in case they tried to animate again.
