It seemed cold and drafty and full of leather birds with too sharp teeth). “And I am sure you can imagine that not many returned once they left for an attempt to cross.” It’s an opening, of course, for Deimos to elaborate on it should he wish to.

Not when the prospect of training was at hand – and as he preps the things he’s brought back into their bag to be settled, the butcher thanks the blacksmith for the help and the room to use and learn, before he’s turning back toward Deimos with a warm chuckle. “I am hopeful for it being nothing but mundane weaponry. I am still reeling with the memory of your water magic.” He laments, but it’s all in good humor either way.
“Shall we, then?” Gesturing toward the barracks in the distance, Astaroth hoists the bag over his shoulder, prepared to head straight there, lest Deimos need to make a stop on the way.
