gladiator, picked a fight with the gods, i'm a giant slayer
"I wouldn't mind even if you were doing it intentionally," Ronin murmurs, a smile playing over his lips as he turns his head to lean in and kiss his husband's fingers where they caress the sunbeam on his shoulder. "I'm more than happy to blame your magic, though. It's at least half to blame." Besides, if they're blaming Remi's abilities for his behaviour, they can continue to blame Ronin's for his.
Scoffing out a surprised laugh to hear the shade thrown at their fellow non-life or death demigods, Ronin raises his eyebrows but inclines his head in slow agreement, reluctant though it might be. "Our fault for getting involved with the deities who play the high stakes games, I suppose," he says, leaning into the hand that comes to cup his cheek.
"Together," he agrees through a whisper, though it isn't as though either of their death clauses are particularly easy to fulfil. He doesn't know who he'd ask to grant him the ability to join his husband in Mort's realm, truthfully. (Then again, he doesn't yet know about Vesper, so that might be an answer).
"Hm...?" Tugging himself out of his reverie, Ronin scrunches his nose and grins. "As a demigod, I have to say of course not," he says haughtily. "But as your husband? I think Mort definitely keeps an eye on us, and then tells everything to Vi. I doubt they think anything is the matter with us, though." Given their own tangled love story.
