-Zavien-
"Thanks for keeping me company on my task." Zavien gave Deimos a large smile as they walked through the sweltering heat. His clothes were drenched, but it was probably better than it would've been in Longheat. It was also nice to share the suffering with a friend.
As the lava pits started appearing, twisting through their path, he didn't hesitate to pick a suitable place to kneel next to the bubbling liquid rock, eager to escape the overwhelming stuffiness of the Climb. Unsheathing his sword, he shrugged his shoulders. "I just have to burn the 'impurities' from the blade, so it shouldn't take long."
Zavien tried not to lean too far into the smoke and steam as he shoved the weapon into the molten lava. It sizzled and he tried to distract himself from the sweat dripping down his spine. "I feel like it's been forever since we last spoke. How have you been? How's the family?" He realized he still hadn't met Erebos or Evie, but it felt like he knew them anyways, especially with how lovingly the Warden spoke about them.

Life is getting up one more time
than you've been knocked down.
