"I couldn't possibly say," he drawls, tugging her along with him so they might leave the jungle together and head back out onto soft sands and a reasonably warm day, even at the hight of Leafchange.
"The more you think about it, the less likely the ideas become," he informs her; not necessarily true, but given that she's all but just told him she's going to bombard him with guesses, this is the only thing he can do to try and stop her driving him crazy - short of blocking her out, of course.
