So saying, Jack finds a brazier in one corner, manhandling it towards where Flora is setting up her furs and loading it with some dry wood from a stock beneath some old canvas. It takes a little while to get the fire going, but by the time he's done, it's positively homey.

"Light, warmth, booze, you? What more could a man ask for?" Winking at her, the captain dutifully goes for a rummage, coming up with what he thinks is gin and wine, though Flora will be the better judge.
