Would you prefer I ignore you and go to brood out the window?" he wonders, stepping over to sink down onto the pile of furs she's arranged.
No sooner has he taken a seat when Flora is away again, though, to try and pry open the cork from the wine bottle. Jack might have offered the knife ever-present in his boot, but of course she's already got the letter opener in reach, and he's cringing even as her acrid disgust prickles through his telepathy. "Noted," he rumbles, reaching for the gin instead and using said knife to uncork it with a pop!
"Now," he says, holding it out for her to take a sip, "where were we?"
