Koa
I don't want to wonder if this is a blunder
"The fuck is this?" does indeed ring out from many a soldier's mouth, including our poor Koa who has opened his door to find a mass of inflated bunny rabbits floating near his face. Truth be told, Koa doesn't live in the Barracks - at least, not full time - but lucky for Mel, today happened to be one of his nights spent in the soldiers' ranks. Bedraggled and bemused, he flails his way through the balloons and their strings, growling something under his breath as a ribbon catches round one arm.
"The fuck?" Koa repeats as the rabbit finally dislodges and he breaks free, only to find his fellow soldiers similarly at a war with their own latex foes. "Who in fuck's name---" he begins to shout, only for his mouth to click shut as something catches his eye.
It's large...
....and yellow....
...and shaped suspiciously like a duck...
Suddenly everything clicks together, and he isn't sure whether to laugh or cry. The stealth, the balloons, the utter nonsense of it all... well. There's only one person Koa can imagine to be responsible for such a thing. Pushing past the mocking duck, Koa marches toward the courtyard, voice carrying over the din. "MELITA! I KNOW YOU DID THIS. GET OUT HERE, YOU MENACE!" The command is impressively authoritative, and would have a lot more gravitas had the string of the balloon not somehow attached itself to his back, giving Koa a comically cheerful avian shadow that bobs along merrily with each of his steps.
