Melita hadn’t expected any company amidst the desert, save for her own companions, so the distant call of “Wait up!” caused her to furrow her brows, and glance over her shoulder. The woman was too far away to recognize at the moment, and initially, she wondered about ditching her and shoving off.
When she didn’t, however, and the individual came more into view, she realized she did know the stranger – albeit mildly – remembering her as a more serious figure. Wrinkling her nose and sighing, hoping she wasn’t slowed down by the other, she gave a half-hearted wave. “What’re you out here for?” She inquired, on the off-chance they might have similar goals, as Fangorn grumbled up ahead, already spotting one of the cacti necessary for her quest.
