Deimos

“I think you just have,” by way of ensuring they were aware of Sunjata’s current infected status. Otherwise, Deimos had no intentions of bringing anyone not ready into the brink of Starfall – it’d be foolish, ridiculous, and a death trap for those simply not capable of withstanding the assaults and sieges. And he figured Koa knew this; if Ronin and Remi had trials, tribulations, and trouble associated with these invaders, most of Caido would likely have the same, or worse. “I will let you know if something comes up though,” he granted with a nod. He wasn’t dismissing or diminishing Koa’s capabilities – just ensuring they were utilized at their range of potency.

Tilting his head a little and shuffling the papers lined up along the long table, he measured the Dragoon’s countenance with an arch of his brow, and perhaps a little of his dry humor. “Depends. Can you follow another’s directions?” The Sword had brought enough of those who thought themselves capable and above the thought of commands from another; and in due course, had made the mission that much more difficult and dangerous.

The problem with the vagueness in their terms was that Deimos wasn’t certain how to go around too many things without his usually concise and blunt edges. As far as suggestions, he’d been pro-coup in the past, but knowing what he did now…it would only stop any Starfall constituents for a time. And then they’d be back, full force, bombarding and barraging and bulldozing because they could. And it wouldn’t help Stormbreak at all. "Some can be achieved by removing the individual from their throne, but it would not stop them from infiltrating again." He mentioned, at least, by way of warning. “Which neighbors would that be?” He wasn’t sure about these implications, given how many districts and regions there were. On a shrug of his shoulders, he passed parchment and charcoal over to Koa, so he might write down the plans and thoughts rather than having them flicker about in the ether.
