Hadama had come to the Greatwood to seek out Vi's Roses. That it was the place that Flora had been killed by the Void or some member of the mysterious Family did not escape him, but nor did it deter him. He walked with outward calm but his eyes moved with alertness through the shadows between the ancient trees that crowded close together. Even in the cool of Leafchange he was barefoot, seeking a connection to the water that filled the woodland, breaking the region into islets and singing beneath the calls of birds and other denizens of the forest.
He saw Lily first, the silver wolf a glowing shape in the beam of sunlight ahead. He paused to be certain of her identity before approaching with steps that were deliberately less silent as he called out a quiet greeting. "Hello. Is Sah--?" And indeed, a few steps later brought the Wild Thunder himself into view, answering the question before he had finished speaking it. Hadama stepped into the little clearing, inclining his head to the other man as his stoic expression relaxed to see the friendly Halovian. "Greetings. Are you also looking for Roses?"
