If anything, he half-hugged her closer and tilted his head to rest his cheek against her golden hair, letting her talk without trying to interrupt. Patience wasn't exactly his strong suit, but he found he had plenty of it for Sohalia and her broken heart, with all the confusion and pain that came with it.
