Koa
There's going to come a day when you feel better
You'll rise up free and easy on that day
Glancing curiously between Deimos and Zavien, Koa doesn't comment on the odd exchange. He's relieved to hear that Sunjata is - presumably - cured, Koa feels one weight slide off his shoulders, replaced by a sense of accomplishment with his own role in the rescue. It's not much, but it's something, a blow against their oppressors that he helped strike. The most he's managed to really do thus far, and damn if that doesn't feel good. You'll rise up free and easy on that day
At Zavien's suggestion he bids Deimos farewell, leaving the general to his lanterns. He's grateful to be asked to
And float from branch to branch, lighter than the air
Just when that day is coming, who can say?
Just when that day is coming, who can say?
