Nodding to allow Danta to step out, the Flood busied himself with his water magic to waste time. His jaw feathering as he tries to relax further, eyeing the window with the cold breeze that blows through every so often.

And honestly? For what he knows of the Maverick and what little he knows of the butcher, the room is not at all what he’s expecting. And gods does he take it in — a mixture of pristine chaos that screams both old and new; and he has to wonder if a few of those bones that drift on a warm breeze from the fire are finger bones with their shape.
