"Hey, just a sec," he hisses, slipping out of the bed as well and padding out into the room.
Finding a scrap of paper and jotting something down onto it before folding it into a neat square, he writes Charlie on it as if to ensure Sunjata doesn't think it's from him. "Yesterday you said about temporary distractions making you feel better," he whispers, pressing the note into Jata's hands and fishing around for something else. "If you go to the Temple before you head off, I promise you'll find something you'll never forget. Just give her this note and leave the rest to her."
Smiling crookedly and snagging Sunjata's arm to tie something to it, when the Flood looks down he'll see a bright red bow, as if Danta has wrapped him up like a gift.
