Presumably, it had to do with the fact that he was the only other person who knew what Jack was capable of, but even so, her feelings toward the Flood were nearly as murky as those toward her own mother. Feelings of abandonment and neglect had a sickly blue-green wind chilling Flora's thoughts as she shook her head slightly. "He...wrote to Ronin. He knew my mom was coming to find me, and..."
