Despite how powerful the Wild Thunder had grown since coming to Caido, there were and always would be things that were beyond his capabilities. Turning down his sweet elderly neighbor when she asked for assistance with the most bizarre of tasks was one. Some of her requests were tame such as repairing her roof or helping her run an errand. Others included painting the trunk of the tree in her front yard purple or placing fake eyes in each of her windows during LongNight. She was an interesting woman, to say the least.
This was a new one, though, and the hybrid was just relieved that it was something relatively normal. She wanted a rock wall along one end of her property to act as a fence of sorts. Apparently, the neighbor on the other side kept trying to place things that were beyond their own property, and it had almost turned into a fistfight. between two people that were probably older than Halo itself.
And that was how Sah found himself spending a morning beginning to build a fence with stones and mortar.
