Alys
Alys strolled along in New Haven, hot cocoa in a gloved hand, searching the shops for the perfect gift for Tal. She'd never been particularly skilled at purchasing gifts, preferring to make them by hand, but it was hard to make a gift for someone you spent just about every day with. Her original idea - to paint something small, a miniature portrait that Tal could keep somewhere aboard the Peregrine - was difficult to complete in secret. She still hoped to be able to do that, but if she ran out of time... well, it would be better to have a backup.
So she meandered through New Haven and was surprised when she heard her name called. She turned to find a familiar face and relaxed, offering a pleasant smile of her own. "Zavien, hello!" she said. At her feet, Sascha rumbled a greeting, then looked curiously at the dragon that landed nearby. Having become incredibly comfortable with Boreal, the little ursur had a soft spot for most dragons, and she trundled forward to try and sniff at the other companion. Alys snorted at her bonded, then turned back to Zavien. "It's nice to see you. How have you been?"
