Mateo
champagne, cocaine, gasoline
and most things in between
and most things in between
Oblivious to his sister's sneaking up on him at the bar, Mateo has been busy locking eyes on a handsome young man across the room as he enjoys one of his maraschino cherries, and it's as he plucks the (knotted) stem from between his lips that Flora suddenly appears around him like a scarf. "Mm--! Sorellina!" he chirps as he recognises her voice, setting down cherry stem and drink to turn and wrap an arm around her, drawing her into a hug that smells of liquor and bergamot.
"As if I would ever mind," he continues, grinning and pretending to dust off the empty stool beside him for her to take a seat, before he gestures to get the attention of the bartender. Knowing better (his sister owns a bar herself, you know) than to order on her behalf, he leaves Flora to scrutinise the Hart's offerings and retrieves his drink to take a very healthy sip of it. "I did not expect to see you up here in Stormbreak. What is the occasion? A hot date with your rugged and dangerous and mysterious boyfriend?" He waggles his eyebrows.
