Once that’s underway, the butcher flits his attention back toward the monster hunter with his own bright smile, decidedly sharper than the leather worker’s had been. “Of course, my dear. I am sure we will cross paths again soon enough." If nothing else, at least at a wedding in the future.
He watches Fox depart, briefly before his attention flits back to Meliar as he begins to inscribe the phrase into the leather valet tray. Each letter meticulously put until the inside is branded and colored dark from the slight burn and scorch marks. A beautiful addition, if he had any say.
It’s only about ten minutes before he’s stepping out of the leather working shop with the gift in hand, wrapped in a beautiful red wrapping paper to hide its contents. All in all, the butcher seems quite pleased. It hadn’t been exactly what he was thinking of, but sometimes things just fall into place.
