The woman was fast, dodging her attack with an ease that surprised her. She didn't know what their strange hand movement was, but maybe it was magic, because then she was just gone. Not even a puff of smoke to support that she'd ever been there.
Blinking twice, Nova froze in place and cocked her, completely baffled. Hello? She swung her head around, tail flicking with annoyance. Where are you? It took another moment, but she finally realized that the woman probably couldn't hear her mind shouts. Nova shifted back into her petite human form, eyes searching wildly for any sing of red hair as she called out. "Hey! Where'd you go?!"
She didn’t wait long for a response, too impatient and frustrated to care. Flipping her blonde hair with a flick of her wrist, she spun to leave. "Fine! Run! Like a coward!"
