Her brow furrows even as he presses a comforting kiss against her forehead, Isla glancing up at him with only the smallest hint of reluctance, the turbulence of her thoughts written plain in her expression. "I... well, yes. But that was before the Family lost two demigods from beneath their influence. What if they ask him to do something terrible now? What if they get him even further under the thumb?" She's not a fan of the what if game herself, knowing it to be fruitless, but she can't help but think along those lines.
