Alys made a mental note to leave an offering at a shrine if she made it out of this alive, then leapt into action again.

She wasn't confident that the yeti would fall for the same trick twice, so she veered away from her illusions, instead nocking an arrow and taking aim for the yeti's shoulder - trying to hit it close to where Melita and Safrin had struck, thinking that repeated strikes to the same area might weaken their opponent.
