The scent of sizzling scales has the demigod wincing and dragging his shirt up even higher. Had he thought it wouldn't draw the snake's attention, he might have tugged it over his head to properly wrap it around his nose and mouth. Alas.
Seeing absolutely nothing wrong with a bit of the old rinse and repeat, Vesper once again draws upon his shadows, aiming for the viper's head once again.
