"People have been able to keep the void out of Torchline, so I don't see why not," he says slowly, before giving his husband a glance that's both grief and gentle warning rolled into one. "But that's not our decision to make, and it's not our place to help anymore."
Holding out his hand for Remi, the Knight waits for him to step outside as well before he follows the trail of his own blood back down onto the beach.
