Snorting under his breath, Remi grins. "I will get you some needle and thread and you can make it for yourself, mm?" The Ronin he lived with during Deepfrost was a man who liked his creature comforts; no doubt he'd happily while away an afternoon doing a cross stitch so long as he had a warm drink within reach and a blanket over his lap.
"Thanks," he murmurs softly, twisting to press a kiss against his husband's temple before wrapping an arm around his waist more to keep them close together rather than believing his husband needed the physical support. "No..." Biting at the inside of his cheek as he's corrected, the Bastion nods. "..quite right."
Stepping outside, Remi squints up at the overcast sky, the wrinkles on his forehead suggesting he took the grayish brightness personally. "I love you," he says suddenly, turning adamantly toward the Knight, eyebrows lifting. "It's only you, for me. I will do everything I can to keep our children safe, and as far as the rest of it goes..." His eyes slide to the side, glancing at the pristine expanse of shoreline before coming back to the wild fae-blue of his husband's gaze. Lost in that particular shade, the Bastion only nods. Perhaps Mort would strike him down for the way he shrugged off his obligations to protect the many in order to protect the few, or perhaps, just maybe, the god would understand.
