Luckily, the woman (that's who she now assumed the opposing jaguar to be) seemed to find her punishment satisfaction enough to lighten her hold.
When Nova finally got free, she let out a pained and indignant growl. Head low, she limped backwards to put distance between her and the woman. She wasn't running, but she certainly wasn't sticking around to get mutilated. No. The only lesson she'd learned from this was that she'd have to come back stronger. And maybe next time she'd bring back up.
With a final glare and threatening growl, she channeled her inner Vesper and sank into the shadows.
