flora
Flora barely had a moment to register the sound of Sohalia’s voice before she was moving, her daggers clinking softly against her thighs as she bolted from behind the bar. The sight of Soh—alive, whole, and here—dropped a weight from her chest she hadn’t realized she’d been carrying.
"Soh!" Flora practically yelled, throwing her arms around her friend in a tight hug. The intensity of it was matched only by the flood of emotions she couldn’t quite contain—relief, worry, and the lingering sting of fear that had haunted her since that damned broadcast. She didn’t care about the empty bar, about decorum, or even about how tightly she was squeezing the Luminary. She just needed to feel her friend’s presence, solid and real.
After a moment, Flora finally pulled back, her aqua eyes scanning Sohalia’s face with a mix of relief and scrutiny. "Gods, Soh, you look..." Her words trailed off as her gaze lingered on her friend’s features, searching for any signs of lingering harm, physical or otherwise. "Like shit, actually," she added with a wry grin, though her voice cracked just a little at the end.
She shook her head, her curls bouncing as she released a breath that came out shakier than she would’ve liked. "I’ve been losing my mind worrying about you. That broadcast? Soh, I—" Flora cut herself off, pressing her lips together as if to stop the words from tumbling out in a flood. Instead, she grabbed Soh by the shoulders, her voice softening but still insistent. "Are you okay? Really okay?"
