No such words from the captain had ever graced the parchment's surface, but Flora was happy enough to read between the lines and insert whatever sentiments she wanted from him, especially when he wasn't around to correct her.

"You’re really leaning into this, huh?" she quipped, setting her empty glass down and rising to her feet with all the confidence she could muster. "And hey," the queen rolled her eyes.
