A hush falls over the Citadel’s tall, stone ramparts as sentries spot movement on the icy horizon. Beneath the arc of the magical dome, all is still; snow drifts swirl and dissipate at the city’s boundary, and the snap of flags above the gatehouse is the only sound until a distant crackle of purple light announces something’s approach. At first it appears to be a hulking shadow, but as it draws closer, more details emerge—a towering shape at least three meters tall, its body looking as if it was hewn in haste. Limbs of jagged rock are patchworked together by some foul, pulsing energy, their edges bound by ribbons of void lightning. Where its head should be, there is only a rough mound of triangular stones, each pressed together like ill-fitting puzzle pieces.
Outside the warmth of the Citadel’s dome, the wind gnashes with Deepfrost’s bitter teeth, yet the giant remains unaffected. The unnatural purple glow flares at irregular intervals, dancing across its misshapen frame like a living storm. In those bursts of colour, you can almost see the corruption seething through the rock—some malignant, alien infection that seems to be the very essence of The Family. Watching it loom against the swirling drifts is like witnessing a half-formed nightmare given weight and purpose. Each step it takes is heavy and deliberate, crunching the thin crust of snow beneath it and sending tremors through the ground.
The guards exchange tense, fearful glances. The gate has withstood countless threats, from rampaging beasts to bitter winds of old Halo winters. But this is something else, something that was never meant to walk Caido’s surface. It stands at the threshold now, purple arcs fizzling in the gloom, an abomination at the door—uninvited and unstoppable in its advance.

Where a head should rest sits a looming pyramid of dark stone, its edges glowing with crackling arcs of violet lightning that dance and twist in the frigid air. Each gargantuan limb moves with a slow, deliberate power, and the deep fissures across its body seem alive, radiating pulses of void-infused corruption that hiss and spark in the cold. Despite its rough-hewn construction, a grim intelligence lurks within the Titan’s magenta-lit crevices; the very air around it seems to warp and tremble with every thunderous step it takes. Shards of ice and debris trail behind in its wake, and the faint hum of the void resonates through its core, sending chills down the spine of any who dare stand before this towering abomination.
