Boreal watched Sol's sneezes with concern, wriggling a little closer to gently nudge the smaller dragon with her muzzle. She didn't quite understand the source of his distress, but she knew that he liked snowflakes and after a few moment's of serious draconic thought she pushed herself to her feet so she could use her tail to sweep more snow forward for Sol to play in.
Tal left the apples to Zavien while he tended to the cider, stirring it and leaning over to sniff it appreciatively. It was just about done, too, and he wrapped a cloth around his hand so he could grasp the pot's handle and pull it off the fire. "Yeah, definitely! Just gotta make sure they like him for more'n just his pretty face," he added with a rueful grin. After all, Koa also had a great personality!
He poured the cider into a couple of small mugs that he pulled out, a little chipped and worn but clean and still serviceable. The pot was set by the apples to let the rest of its contents cool enough to be packaged up for travel later. Pale eyes immediately turned back to Zavien with curiosity as he handed one of the mugs to his friend and then curled his hands around his own to warm them. "Hey, no worries. It took Alys an' me ages t'tell anyone else," he admitted, his own smile a little lopsided. "So I get it. There's somethin' about bein' able t'just be t'gether without other people pushin' their expectations o' what your relationship should be on y'both." He blew on his drink to cool it and then took a small sip, hissing a little at the heat on his tongue but looking quite pleased with the flavor. "So, got any ideas for your next date?"
