The titan fell, and Rhiannon emerged from behind the gate to rejoin Deimos and the others, staring in awe at the massive corpse. Was this all there was to the Family and the Void? Surely it couldn’t usually be this easy to defeat them - otherwise, Caido would have been cleared of infection entirely by now.
She stood silently behind Deimos, still feeling the guilt of aiming the Rainbow Gate poorly, and watched as a man she didn’t recognize took the hide. More power to him - she didn’t want to touch that thing with a ten-foot pole.
