Sah greeted her with a grin, which Rhiannon returned. ”Oh, can’t complain,” she told her fellow hybrid. At least, she couldn’t complain yet. After all, things were fine, all things considered. ”I’m just on my way to my patrol,” she said, gesturing down the street. ”How about you?”
Unfortunately for Sah, Rhiannon was tight-lipped when it came to her friends. She didn’t have many, and even fewer from childhood, so she wasn’t inclined to gossip about them, especially with someone she barely knew.
Now, if she somehow found out that Tal and Sah were close (ish)… well, then she might be persuaded to open up a little bit.
