She hadn't expected the open admiration in his gaze when she spoke of Enzo, and the certainty in his voice catches her off guard, her breath hitching for just a moment. So many people had dismissed her goal outright, but Niki didn't. He just... accepted it. Believed it. "Well," she murmurs, a small grin curving her lips, "You might be able to meet him in the flesh sooner than that. My dad usually brings him back once a year for me to see."
