Given that Niki is not particularly partial to sweet things, Alys is quite welcome to take his share of the cookies home with her as well; something he'll certainly let her know once they are finished baking. "It is as good a cookie as any, or so I have heard," he says of her choice, nodding and reaching for a bag of chocolate chips from their little tray of flavour options. With all of that sorted, he sets the recipe between them to work off and methodically begins to mix his ingredients.
"Mm, it has been quite some time since anything quite like this happened so far from the village," Niki admits. "I suppose more visitors must be returning to the Greatwood, so merchants see it as an opportunity." As for how often he visits the place, he offers Alys a small smile. "I live here, truthfully," he tells her. "It has been an experience, to see the place open up again. Not a bad one."
