With both companions having far too much fun in the snow, Tal's embarrassment couldn't linger for too long. He had been caught off guard and he was grateful to move past the question for now, but Zavien had certainly planted seeds of thought in the courier's mind that he would find himself turning over later. Dating, at least, was a much safer topic! And one that he threw himself wholeheartedly into discussing as they toasted their tentative plans for a future double date.
Plans that would, unfortunately, be derailed by developments in Halo soon. But for now Tal remained blissfully oblivious of what the future would bring.
"Well, since you're a couple an' all I don't think she'd turn y'down if y'did ask," he teased his friend around a mouthful of warm apple. "An' yeah, we'll be there. Maybe we can grab some food t'gether at some point!"
A bold suggestion given that they were currently eating food that would be perfect for the Festival of Bells, but much like his dragon, Tal was never one to turn down a treat!
