At least Melita isn’t alone with it. The festival was right in his region, so of course the Flood would make an appearance. Arriving a touch late, with Hotaru on his arm, he brings the one thing he’s decent at making. Ramphire steaks, crafted into bites, deposited along the rest of the tables laden with food before he takes a look around to see all of those in attendance so far.
A crooked smile is offered toward Melita, a wink and a wave toward Charlie, a nod to Deimos, a wave toward Dantalion and an apologetic twist to his face when he spots the butcher on the Maverick’s side. But ah, as he scans the rest of those in attendance, he stills when he spots Remi and Ronin. A huff of breath escapes him and he swallows hard, hiding the reaction the best he can with how he ducks his head toward Hotaru’s side, his scars flashing only once with light like the snap of a strike of lightning. Don’t look at Ronin. It’s a warning quiet through the attuned bond for her, one that he knows won’t go well, because if he knows her (and he does), he knows she’s going to look anyway. But at least it was better than being surprised by it as he had.
“Let’s have a nice time before Longnight, yeah?” He asks softly, trying to get them back on track, even if the wariness pours through him toward her.
