Rhiannon moved the last bough she could reach from her current tree, dragging it into place upon the sled. For a moment, she thought they were finished - the sled was about as full as they could make it - and it crossed her mind that this task had been almost too easy. But then Deimos conjured a second sled to put behind the first, and Rhi nodded to herself. Better to have too many boughs than not enough.
So back to work she went, selecting a new tree to scratch and gnaw at, breaking off limb after limb to drag back to the second sled. She looked up at one point to see Sah staring down a ningo and thought about seeing if she could startle the bird so that it might fly into his face, but decided against it. She wasn’t sure how such a prank would be received.
