To the Maverick, hoping this letter finds you well;
I write to let you know that I have decided to move away from the Hollow Grounds, to make a new start in Torchline.
You thawed me out of stone and gave me many chances to make myself at home, both as a new Ancient and in the changed version of my old homeland. I will always be grateful to you for that, and I truly regret not being able to truly embrace the freedom you and your friends enjoy. It is my hope and intention to make better choices in the future... and I really hope that, in case we run into one another again, I will know myself better, and be less of a disappointment.
My offer to make amends to Astaroth for my behavior still stands, if he ever desires to settle the matter. I will not contact him as I understand that it might still be upsetting; feel free to pass on my thoughts if you feel it appropriate, or not. It will be his decision if and when – and how – if it is even possible at all.
Again, thank you for everything. I wish you and the Hollow Grounds well in the future.
