Gods but Danta doesn't think that he'll ever get enough of Asta, and though the words lay unspoken between them, the possessive grasp of the butcher's hands and the sweetness of his kiss is more than enough to get the point across. Almost forgetting that he needs to breathe, the Maverick is well on his way to playfully pinning the other man down in the blankets and furs when the sound of thundering footsteps on the stairs outside has him glancing up.
Their door, of course, is locked, and the knocking against it is frantic at best. "Slow down," Danta calls at the overlapping cacophony of voices that try to call to them, until he can finally make out the words. A body has been dumped on the doorstep outside.
Sobering instantly, Danta glances only briefly at Asta before he's slipping out of his embrace and clambering down from the mezzanine, grabbing a shirt along the way. "I'm coming."
