Nova
We are beautiful things, wild things,
After all the melancholy moods in Torchline, Nova thought it important to get out for a little while. Everyone was too depressed; it was dampening her own sparkly mood. She woke up that morning and immediately shifted into her tide jaguar form, deciding that she should probably run the opposite direction as before. Instead of running towards the Greatwood, she ran up, towards the ashy skies of the Climb. Her legs pumped as she followed the shoreline up, up, up. Eventually, she came to the lava rivers, but she didn't stop there. She kept moving, humming pleasantly as she wandered the area.
It wasn't until she made her way into a large cavern full of steaming water that she came to a trot. Her black and rainbow fur was glistening with exertion, making the hot space almost stifling. Nova shifted, letting out a deep sigh at the relief. Her clothes were damp with sweat as she began peeling them off at the water's edge. That's when she spotted the pale woman with curling horns wading through the water. She perked up at the prospect of a new friend, a beaming smile spreading across her face. "Oh! Hello! I'm Nova!" Her hand raised to wave, releasing the hold she'd had on her rainbow tie-dyed dress. It fell to the floor where her jean jacket with bleached star designs already lay.
Not bothered by her barrenness (she knows she's pretty), Nova bounced with excitement, her pink and blonde hair framing her glittering blue eyes. "Are you cleaning off too? I'm a little sticky after my run, and the water looks sooo relaxing." Sure enough, as she dipped her first toe in, she let out a soft groan. Eager to release the tension of her muscles, she stepped all the way in, dipping down so only her head peeks above the surface.
