"Fuck you," Flora snarls, glaring at Jack hard enough to have lines appearing between her brows. "I don't want to give up, and if anything I'm mad that you've decided that not only is now a good time to start playing hero, but trying to play it off like I'm the idiot for questioning you about it."
Suddenly furious, Flora hiccups back the breath that wants to rush from between her lips. [says]"Oh right," barking out a humourless laugh, the queen returns her stare toward the sea. "Forgive me for forgetting that you can put your own life in danger, but help us all if anything happens to The Ark." It's a nothing accusation and she knows it, but gods if her anger doesn't need to go somewhere just now.
"No, I'm acting like it isn't my job to save the entire fucking world." Flora corrects with a huff. "Because if all it takes is me going up to Stormbreak and giving Dahlia what she wants in order to ensure Torchline stays golden in whatever's to come?" Last time she'd checked the demigods had done basically fuck all; she'd been the one to provide the flowers that had been planted and since then, they'd all fought battles they'd ultimately lost in the long run.
