Maea
The worst of all blessings
She put on a brave face and limped along as best she could. Despite that, the pace slowed a lot compared to when they were headed out and the sun kept moving across the sky in leaps and bounds. The silence of the pale-skinned woman was as much a sign of her stubborn nature as it was an indicator of pain. But not laughing in Liam's face as he offered to take her home, now that would be alarming to anyone who knew her.
Throwing him an assessing look, considering the chivalrous nature he'd presented so far and her own levels of discomfort, he should be honored that she didn't dismiss his suggestion outright.
"Depends on where you live," Maea told him, smiling with a strained line around her mouth. "I've a camp set up outside of the Sidhe Village, but if your place is closer...?" If he tried anything, the wasn't so badly hurt the couldn't shift; suddenly having a Molten Tiger in Ones lap ought to startle most people.
And the didn't seriously think Liam would do anything other than aid her as best he could. Stupid it may be, but she kind of trusted him.
