Satisfied with her healing measures, Alys slipped from the crowd as they began to grow angry. All she needed was to be trampled by a mob just because she’d chosen to be invisible - or, worse, to be targeted as the source of the fires simply because she had magic. No, far better to escape and leave while she still could.
Keeping her illusion magic going, and once again employing her air magic to dust away her footprints, Alys made her way steadily and carefully through the crowd, trying not to run into anyone. Once she was free of the people, she began to make her way towards the base. If she could get there, she’d get another point - and would, perhaps, not come in last in their little game.
