Ronin’s challenges were so different from those described by Maea and Zavien, and she found herself wondering if that, perhaps, was the point: that everyone would experience rebirth differently, and that Alys needed to be prepared for Sascha to feel… however she was going to feel. And for Alys to feel it, too, as bonded as they were.
