At least it was the Observatory, and there was a wondrous beauty in the angles and views as it approached evening; the sun’s beacon slowly lowering in the springtime sky. Something petty in her eyed the Safrin shrine, but knowing Vi was a better candidate, she left some portions of starlit nonsense and trinkets she’d found in the Sidhe Village, and considered that good. Dusting her hands off and leaving them at the altar, she poked her head around the scattered bits of candles, lights, and offerings, seeing if any of those damned roses was lingering in its threshold.
When that aspired to nothing, she maneuvered her way around the rope ladder, glancing back at her uncle. “All right, well, any more news from the latest shitstorms?”
