Turning to Deimos, she gave her head a shake to clear it. ”I’m so sorry,” she told him. ”I was just out here to gather some snow and - I overreacted.” Despite the time that had passed, she still wasn’t over the battle with the yeti, and who could blame her? She’d lost her companion, lost a friend, and nearly lost her life. It was a traumatizing event that she’d largely buried in the dark recesses of her mind. Was it any wonder that she was jumpy?
