The thing about having been a soldier in Stormbreak was that he was trained to keep the peace - which meant fighting against those who hadn't necessarily been formally trained. Liam had his fair share of experience against street fighters, and it was that experience that he leaned into now as it became clear to him that what Maea might lack in formal training, she made up for in other skillsets.
